Vicent Gumbau, president of FAMPA Castelló Penyagolosa and Confederació Gonzalo Anaya, warned that conditions are not met for a peaceful start to the course in the educational system. Families face the new school year with numerous pending issues and with the feeling that a large part of their claims remain unresolved.
Gumbau demands that the regional government, through the Education Department, take structural measures to address heat in classrooms, something that directly affects the comfort and concentration of students during lessons.
Among the main claims, the historic reduction in student-to-class ratios stands out, as well as more resources for school inclusion, family reconciliation, and school transport. These demands arise in a context where families consider that the administration is not sufficiently responding to their needs.
The president of the family associations also questioned the new regulation of the educational inspection, expressing concern about this change and reiterating that, given all these unresolved problems, there are no conditions for a serene start to the course.
