Metalheads waited up to 3h30 in line to win a digital minicamera during Rock in Rio. Veterinarian Flavia Silva from Patos (PA) spent that entire time participating in an activation at a logistics company's booth that promised the miniature as the main giveaway. She said she had been there for three shows and was afraid she wouldn't get the prize.
Being in line didn't guarantee success, because to win the giveaway you had to participate in a little ball race with three other people. The winner of that race entered a raffle that could award a little facial massage brush, a little car, or the desired camera. Those who lost the race also entered to win pins and lanyards.
Nursing technician Juliana Santos, 33 and from Rio de Janeiro, said she even thought about giving up, but kept staying and ended up waiting for more than 3 hours. She was among the many metalheads who accepted the challenge of facing huge lines in exchange for the possibility of winning some giveaway.
