Hundreds of people protested in Lisbon for the rights of all animals. The protest, which took place in the Portuguese capital, featured activists who advocated for a change in the way society treats different animal species.
The event organizer argued that, in order to achieve the desired change, it is necessary to "change the paradigm" and the way species are viewed. This position reflects the urgency of a transformation in the values and practices related to animal use.
One of the central slogans of the demonstration was "Your food had a mother", a message that appeals to consumers' awareness about the origin of animal products and the conditions in which animals are raised and killed for human consumption.
