The Frazão Parish Council bade farewell to Father João Pedro Martins Ribeiro, who leaves the communities of Frazão, Ferreira and Arreigada after almost eight years of pastoral service. The priest, ordained on December 8, 2018, assumed in that same month the parishes of São Pedro de Arreigada, São Pedro de Ferreira and São Martinho de Frazão, all located in the municipality of Paços de Ferreira.
The Frazão local authority publicly thanked the priest for the work developed, highlighting the dedication, availability and commitment demonstrated in pastoral and social service, as well as the closeness maintained with the community over the past years.
In the message published, the Parish Council expressed its deep gratitude to the "Most Reverend Father João Pedro Ribeiro" and wished him "the greatest happiness, health and success" in the new stage he now begins. The farewell thus closes a cycle that began in December 2018, with the Council asking that "God continue to accompany and bless his path."
