Arronches Town Hall honors Father Fernando Farinha

The Municipality of Arronches will pay a public tribute to Father Fernando Farinha, the parish priest who will cease his duties during the month of September. The decision to pay this tribute comes in the context of the priest's departure after a long period of service in the municipality.

Father Fernando Farinha served the parishes of Assunção, Esperança and Mosteiros in the Municipality of Arronches for 17 years. His work as parish priest covered these three religious communities, accompanying the spiritual life of the faithful for almost two decades.

The last Mass celebrated by Father Fernando Farinha is scheduled for September 13th, at 12:00, at the Mother Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção. This celebration will mark the official closure of his period of service as parish priest in these parishes.
