Filipe Luís became the first coach in Monaco's history to win his first five games in charge of the team. The Brazilian coach, presented by the club in July, has maintained a 100% success rate since then. The tally only counts official matches, not pre-season friendlies.
With the Brazilian in charge, Monaco won two matches against Górnik Zabrze, from Poland, in the preliminary phase of the Europa League, in addition to the first three rounds of the French Ligue 1, against Le Havre, Olympique de Marseille and PSG.
After the victory over PSG in Paris, Filipe Luís celebrated the result and praised the players' performance. He said it is a great start to the season, but kept calm and highlighted that he needs to think one game at a time.
The Brazilian coach also commented on the tactical performance and the team's behavior against what he considered the best team in the world. He expressed happiness with the players' attitude during the match against PSG.
