Erin Brooks on the lookout for historic treble in world surfing

Record5 September 2026 at 00:55

Erin Brooks, Canadian surfer, is very close to achieving a historic triple on the world surfing circuit. The young athlete has already secured victories at two of the three most iconic waves in the world: Teahupoo, in Tahiti, and Cloudbreak, in Fiji.

With these two impressive wins, Brooks is just one stage away from completing the legendary triple. The remaining wave is Pipeline, in Hawaii, considered one of the most dangerous and prestigious on the circuit.

This achievement would be historic for Canadian surfing, a country not traditionally associated with the top of this sport. Brooks has demonstrated an exceptional level of surfing this season.

The attention of the surfing world is now focused on the Hawaii stage, where Brooks will have the opportunity to seal a place in sporting history.
