Municipalities of Lezíria do Tejo elect the governing bodies of the intermunicipal transport company

The first General Assembly of Transportes da Lezíria do Tejo, EIM, S.A., an intermunicipal transport company created by the 11 municipalities that are part of the Intermunicipal Community of Lezíria do Tejo (CIMLT), was held on September 3rd. The governing bodies of the company were elected at this assembly.

The company was created with the objective of ensuring the management and development of the public collective passenger transport service in the Lezíria do Tejo region, covering all the municipalities that are part of CIMLT.

Transportes da Lezíria do Tejo is a public limited company with exclusively public capital, owned by the municipalities of the region, which gives it an intermunicipal nature and allows unified management of transport in the area.
