Matheus França heading to Alverca on loan

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo4 September 2026 at 21:25

Matheus França, a Brazilian attacking midfielder of 22 years, is heading to Alverca on loan. The young player leaves Crystal Palace, a club where he failed to establish himself, and temporarily transfers to the Portuguese side.

The agreement provides for the loan to extend until June 2027, a considerably long period that allows the player to gain competitive rhythm and experience on European soil.

The operation has not yet been confirmed officially, which means both clubs have not yet made any public announcement about the temporary transfer.

Matheus França arrived at Crystal Palace from Flamengo, his formative club in Brazil, but never managed to break into the Eagles' starting eleven, making this loan an opportunity to relaunch his career.
