Eduardo Vítor Rodrigues, former mayor of the Municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, was acquitted of the crimes of malpractice and embezzlement he was accused of in connection with a process related to FC Porto.
The politician faced charges related to his term as mayor of Vila Nova de Gaia, the municipality that hosts the Estádio do Dragão, home of FC Porto.
