Users faced failures in the QR Code system of the Jaé app during boarding on the express BRT to Rock in Rio on Friday night. The GLOBO team followed passengers from Cardeal Arcoverde station, in Copacabana, to Jardim Oceânico station, where dozens of people reported problems validating their passage.
The problem occurred in the BRT boarding area, where many passengers who had purchased their ticket in advance through the app reported that the QR Code simply disappeared from the screen at the moment of validation. A line formed outside the turnstiles while workers tried to release access to transportation.
Among the affected fans were Petra Costa, 32, and Lizandra Santos, 25, friends coming from Porto Alegre especially to watch the Foo Fighters show, the main attraction of the first night of the festival. The two were staying in Leme and managed to continue their journey after the workers' directions.
