At the Reform UK conference, Nigel Farage and Jordan Bardella signed an agreement to end "forever" irregular migrant crossings in small boats, should their respective parties come to power.
Bardella is the leader of the far-right French party Rassemblement National, while Farage leads Reform UK in the United Kingdom. The pact was sealed between the two leaders during the event.
The joint agreement comes at a time when both parties are seeking to strengthen cooperation with each other, aligning on a common agenda against irregular immigration. Small boats have been a central theme in the campaigns of both movements.
