The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Rafael Louzán, reiterated on Friday in Ceuta that Spain should host the 2030 World Cup final. Louzán argued that the country is "the best in football currently" and asked FIFA to make this decision.
The RFEF president made these declarations during a visit to Ceuta, where he stressed that there is "no logical explanation" for Spain not hosting the final of the competition.
Louzán also expressed "all respect and affection" for the other countries that are part of the joint bid for the 2030 World Cup, making clear that the final decision lies with FIFA.
