PSD councilors propose partial and temporary suspension of the PDM to "unblock housing and investment in Machico"

Councilors elected by the PSD to the Machico municipality proposed, during a council meeting held this week, the urgent evaluation of the partial, exceptional and temporary suspension of the Municipal Master Plan. This proposal aims to unblock housing projects in the municipality.

The initiative also aims to safeguard emerging investments that may be hindered by current regulations. The PSD councilors argue that the measure would create more favorable conditions for economic and tourist development in the municipality.

The party believes that the temporary suspension of the PDM would be a way to promote more effective and sustainable growth in Machico, responding to the housing and investment needs of the region.
