PSD highlights 'new social response to support elderly people at home'

The PSD/Madeira Parliamentary Group visited, this Friday, Casa Esperança, the first day and night center in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. This infrastructure is managed by the Garouta do Calhau Association and represents one of the new social responses created by the Regional Government to meet the needs of the elderly population.

During the visit, Bina Pereira highlighted the importance of this new social response, which allows elderly people to remain in their homes. During the day and night, these elderly people now have adequate support and accompaniment tailored to their needs.

PSD/Madeira highlighted the Regional Executive's investment in creating these new social responses, which focus specifically on the needs of the elderly population in the region. This approach aims to provide greater quality of life for the elderly, allowing them to remain in their own homes while benefiting from permanent support.
