Prime Minister Luís Montenegro acknowledged this Friday that the impact of the fuel price increase is significant for citizens. This declaration comes at a time when a substantial rise in diesel and gasoline prices is expected for next week.
The Government responded to this situation with the reinforcement of the ISP discount by three cents, a measure also announced this Friday. This decision aims to mitigate the effects of the expected increase in fuel prices.
Montenegro guaranteed that the Executive is prepared to continue intervening in the face of fuel price fluctuations, demonstrating that the situation is being closely monitored by the authorities.
The ISP reinforcement measure comes as a direct response to the expected worsening of costs for consumers next week, in a context of tension in fuel markets.
