Fuel prices in Portugal are expected to rise sharply next week. Diesel will increase by 15 cents, while gasoline will rise by 12 cents, with the new rates coming into effect on Monday.
Prime Minister Luís Montenegro expressed his deep regret for the situation, saying he regrets that conditions have not yet existed for the international market to stabilize.
Montenegro recalled that everyone is being harmed by the prolongation of the conflict in the Middle East, referring to the impact of this situation on fuel prices.
