Government to propose media companies AI training for Amália

The Portuguese AI model Amália will advance to a new development phase. The Portuguese Executive announced that it is preparing a proposal for negotiation with media companies, with the objective of strengthening the system's training.

The planned investment for this new phase is 1.8 million euros. This amount will be destined for the improvement and expansion of the capabilities of the AI model developed in Portugal.

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education leads the negotiations with media groups. The aim is for media to contribute with data to improve Amália's performance.

The Amália model represents a national artificial intelligence project, developed to compete with other international solutions. This new phase aims to strengthen its capabilities through partnerships with the media sector.
