Maisfutebol4 September 2026 at 17:35

Otávio, former FC Porto midfielder, has moved to Qatar to play for Al Rayyan. The 29-year-old Brazilian player thus leaves the Saudi club Al Qadisiyah, where he had been since January 2024.

The transfer was officially confirmed by the clubs involved. The defensive midfielder, who represented FC Porto for several seasons, now becomes a player of the Qatari club.

This move represents a new stage in Otávio's career, who also played for FC Porto before heading to Saudi Arabia. Al Rayyan is one of the historic clubs in Qatari football.

With this transfer, Otávio joins other Brazilian players who have chosen to play in Qatar, a league that has attracted various international footballers in recent years.
