The Municipality of Alpiarça carried out an improvement and maintenance intervention on the cycling track of the Alpiarça Velodrome, in an investment exceeding 70 thousand euros. The works aimed to reinforce the conditions of use and ensure the quality and safety of this sports infrastructure.
The intervention is part of the municipal strategy for the enhancement and qualification of the municipality's sports facilities, seeking to create better conditions for both athletes and clubs, as well as for the organization of cycling competitions. The municipality states that the investment represents another step in the valorization of municipal sports facilities, contributing to the affirmation of the territory as a reference for the practice of the sport.
The first competition after the completion of the works will be the fourth event of the Track Cup of Portugal, scheduled for Saturday, September 5th.
