Arcadi España celebrates the "relevant" step of the new financing model: "It is much better than the current one"

The Fiscal and Financial Policy Council approved the new regional financing model, a step that the Minister of Finance, Arcadi España, considered "relevant". Although he avoided classifying the approval as "historic", España highlighted the importance of the positive opinion from this joint body between the autonomous communities and the central Government.

The minister noted that it had been 17 years since a regional financing model was debated, underlining that the current model had been expired for 12 years. España acknowledged that the new model is not "perfect", but stated that it is "much better" than the current one, showing himself satisfied with the update achieved.
