Faetec opened registrations for 12,109 vacancies in free technical courses aimed at people who have already completed high school. The opportunities are available in 87 units of the institution itself, in addition to Senai and Senac schools spread across 28 municipalities in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
The courses last two or three academic semesters and include training in the areas of Nursing, Logistics, Occupational Safety, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Production Planning and Control, Buildings, Electrotechnical, and Systems Development.
According to the state government, some selected students may have access to the benefits of the Edutec program, which aims to ensure the permanence of students in professional and technological education courses. Among these benefits are the Permanence Scholarship, with monthly payments conditioned on requirements such as minimum attendance, and the Course Completion Award, paid in a single installment for those who meet certain criteria.
