Martim Rodrigues, junior athlete from the Nautical Section of Alhandra Sporting Club, won a bronze medal at the European Sea Canoeing Championship. The competition took place in the French city of Besse between August 26 and 30.
The event brought together 264 athletes from seven countries, in a competition of high international level. Portugal achieved an exceptional performance by winning three gold medals, through Bernardo Pereira, Sara Sotero, and Constança Frazão.
With these results, Portugal was the country with the most titles won in this European competition. The Nautical Section of Alhandra Sporting Club was represented in this event, contributing to Portugal's positive result at the championship.
