The Socialist Party of Madeira accuses the Regional Government of continuing to respond to human resources problems at SESARAM only when they reach limit situations. The PS states that the recent refusals of responsibility presented by Radiology professionals confirm the alerts the party has been making regarding the insufficiency of professionals in the structure of the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The party considers that this situation is proof of inadequate management of human resources in the health area, where professionals are forced to resort to extreme measures to draw attention to the lack of working conditions and staff in the regional health units.
The PS maintains that the practice of hiring professionals only when crises or limit situations arise demonstrates a lack of planning and strategic vision on the part of the Regional Government, which compromises the quality of health services provided to the Madeiran population.
