Alexandre Santos succeeds João Gião at Nacional

Maisfutebol4 September 2026 at 15:47

Alexandre Santos is the new coach of Nacional, succeeding João Gião in charge of the Madeiran team.

The new coach, 49 years old, returns to Portugal to take the position at the Madeira club.

With this change, João Gião is no longer the head coach of Nacional's first team after what appears to have been a period of unsatisfactory results or by decision of the club's board.
