The PSPV of Castelló denounced that the PP has zeroed out the humanitarian aid from the Deputación of Castelló. The PP rejected this Tuesday the proposal presented by the PSPV-PSOE that aimed to recover the international cooperation aid to respond to the earthquakes that affected Venezuela and Colombia.
The socialist initiative proposed to restore funding of 200,000 euros for this policy, which had been eliminated by the government of Marta Barrachina, leader of the PP in the provincial Deputación.
The objective of the proposal was to recover a stable line of cooperation and humanitarian emergency, allowing the Deputación of Castelló to respond to international disaster situations, such as the earthquakes that recently struck the two South American countries.
With this vote, the Deputación of Castelló remains without budget allocation for humanitarian aid abroad, a policy that previously existed but was eliminated by the Popular executive.
