The Odemira City Council, in the district of Beja, approved support totaling 78,100 euros for the acquisition of school material, intended for the 2026/2027 school year. The municipality is distributing 3,124 vouchers worth 25 euros each to support local families.

The measure covers all students from the 1st to the 12th year, encompassing both basic and secondary education. The municipality released the information through an official statement. The investment of 78,100 euros represents a significant effort by the local authority to support the local school community.
