Vila do Conde with ten days of activities promoting Education

Education Week returns to Vila do Conde from September 4 to 13, with a ten-day program dedicated to activities promoting education. The event reinforces the central role of schools and the educational community in the life of the municipality.

The opening featured the scientific meeting "Educating in the 21st Century: from Evidence to Transformation," held at the Municipal Theater, bringing together specialists to discuss contemporary practices and challenges. On Tuesday at 6:30 PM, the Municipal Education Council will be held at Frei João Basic School.

On Wednesday, the highlight is the ceremony marking the start of the renovation and expansion works of Gonçalo Mendes da Maia Basic School, in Guilhabreu. The week also includes the Reception for the Educational Community at the Memory Center and the Colorful Family Walk at Parque do Castelo.

The program concludes on Sunday, September 13, at the Municipal Theater with the Excellence and School Merit Awards, honoring students who stood out during the academic year.
