Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi stated at a press conference that Brazilian striker Richarlison rejected a proposal from Everton, his former club in England, before the transfer window closed. De Zerbi said he does not know if there are offers from Turkey or if the club accepted any other proposal.

The Italian manager explained that he spoke with Richarlison at the beginning of pre-season and that the player himself indicated the desire to leave Tottenham. According to De Zerbi, he respected the player's decision and since then his intention was to work only with players committed to staying at the club.

De Zerbi stated that nothing changes in his routine after Richarlison's refusal. The English club, for its part, signed another player for the offensive sector during the transfer window. The future of the Brazilian player remains undefined.
