The president of the Government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón, harshly criticized Pedro Sánchez's central Government during the XII Summer School 'Antonio Torres' of the Popular Party in Aragon. Azcón stated that the Spanish executive is more concerned with defending Morocco than the interests of the citizens of Ceuta.
The statement was made this Friday, when Azcón officially closed the event organized by the Aragon PP. The regional president used the speech to attack the socialist government's foreign policy regarding the neighboring country.
The comparison between the defense of Morocco and the protection of the people of Ceuta reflects the political tensions between the central Executive and the regional governments of the Popular Party. Azcón, as president of Aragon, joined the criticism against Sánchez's government management.
