The night flight limit at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon was only met in two weeks during 2026. The finding comes from the environmental association Zero, which has been closely monitoring the night flight situation in the Portuguese capital.
Zero developed a dedicated platform to monitor planes landing and taking off at night at this airport. Through this tool, the environmental association has verified the repeated non-compliance with the limits established for the nighttime period.
Humberto Delgado Airport, serving Lisbon, has been the subject of public debate due to its environmental impact and the quality of life of residents living nearby. The monitoring carried out by Zero is precisely aimed at ensuring transparency and compliance with the established rules for night flights.
