After three years without being held, Festival Canta is back in Niterói to celebrate ten years of history. The 2026 edition is scheduled for October 10th, at Caminho Niemeyer, and will feature three stages and shows by artists such as Menos é Mais, Nattan, Pedro Sampaio, Léo Foguete and MC Cabelinho. Ticket sales have already begun through the Ingresse platform.
The festival's return occurs at a time of expansion of the event calendar at Caminho Niemeyer, which has been consolidating itself as one of the main spaces for large-scale shows in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Last week, the venue received mega singer Anitta's show, from the "Equilibrium II" tour, which brought a crowd of thousands of people to Niterói and brought together artists and various personalities in the city.
For the new edition of Canta, the organization expects a structure to host up to 15 thousand people. The festival promises to be one of the main cultural attractions in the region next year, reinforcing Niterói's role as a destination for major musical events.
