JPP today criticised the failure to fulfil promises by the Regional Government of Madeira, specifically regarding the promise of fee exemptions on walking trails for Madeiran emigrants. The criticism was presented by the Juntos Pelo Povo party.
António Trindade, from JPP, spoke about the matter in Santana, highlighting that in February of this year PSD/CDS-Madeira made this promise during the electoral campaign, but that the measure has not yet been implemented to date.
The party considered that this situation represents a "broken promise" by the Regional Executive, highlighting a promise made to Madeiran emigrants that has not been fulfilled to date.
JPP thus once again demanded that the Regional Government honour the commitment made to Madeira's emigrant community regarding this fee exemption measure.
