Dynamo Moscow and the failed transfer of Plata: «We also consider ourselves victims»

Maisfutebol4 September 2026 at 13:14

The Russian club Dynamo Moscow explained the reasons for the failed signings of Ecuadorian winger Gonzalo Plata and Brazilian forward Matheus Martins, after the medical examinations were carried out. Pavel Pivovarov, the club's general director, came forward to clarify the situation.

According to the official, Dynamo Moscow also considers itself a victim in this failed negotiation. The club suspended both signings after the players failed the mandatory medical examinations.

The transfers of both players, which were planned to reinforce the Russian club, ultimately did not materialize due to the negative results of the medical examinations they underwent.

Pivovarov expressed the Russian club's position that they were not the only ones harmed in this situation, suggesting that other parties involved in the process also bear responsibility for the negative outcome of these negotiations.
