An infant of only 1 year old was tortured over 4 months by the mother and stepfather in São Paulo, Brazil. Police investigated the case and discovered that the couple used various objects for physical assaults against the child.
According to authorities, the baby was targeted with violence using objects such as a wooden spoon, handcuffs and a taser. The assaults occurred over several months before the case was discovered and reported to authorities.
The boy has already been discharged from hospital and is currently under the custody of authorities, after police intervention in the abuse case.
