Aixa Salvador was recognized as Best Player of Women's Primera Federación in the V edition of the AFE Awards. The forward of Villarreal Femenino received the award during the gala held at Florida Park, in Madrid, an event that aimed to value the performance, commitment and career of footballers from all categories of national scope.
In a season where the team led by Jordi Ferriols came close to achieving promotion, Aixa delivered an outstanding personal campaign, playing 28 matches and scoring 16 goals.
These numbers made her the top scorer of the yellow submarine team and one of the most outstanding footballers in the category, which justified the awarding of this individual recognition.
The award thus recognizes her significant contribution to Villarreal Femenino during the season, standing out as one of the references of Spanish women's football in the Segunda División.
