The city of Tomar officially presented the Autism Academy, a project that aims to promote community impact actions around the theme of autism. The initiative represents an organized effort to continue and expand the work that had already been developed in the region.
For the year 2027, the Autism Academy defined a quite ambitious annual plan, contemplating a total of 128 community impact actions. These actions aim to cover various areas of intervention to benefit the local community.
The project continues the work that was initiated around the Solidarity Trail for Autism, a sports event that served as a starting point for awareness and mobilization of the community around this cause.
The Autism Academy thus emerges as an organized structure to systematize and expand initiatives related to autism, seeking to create a positive and lasting impact on the community of Tomar.
