Applications Open for Scholarships for Higher Education Students in Funchal

Applications for the Access Programme for Scholarships for Higher Education Students are now open, promoted by the Funchal City Council. Interested students must register exclusively through the municipality's website.

The new Regulation for Access to Scholarships for Higher Education Students was approved yesterday at a council meeting. The document will now be submitted for approval at the Municipal Assembly, which is scheduled for 30 September.

Following approval by the Municipal Assembly, the amendments to the regulation come into force upon publication in the Official Gazette, the official journal of the Portuguese State where legal norms are published.

The programme is intended to support higher education students residing in the municipality of Funchal, offering financial assistance to help cover the costs associated with attending higher education courses.
