Two men aged 24 and 34 were arrested by the Public Security Police in Caldas da Rainha, suspected of stealing a vehicle intended for parcel distribution. The theft occurred in the Rinchoa area, in Rio de Mouro, in the municipality of Sintra.
According to the Leiria District Command of the PSP, one of the suspects approached the driver of the vehicle at the moment when he was preparing to leave the vehicle. The suspect grabbed and pulled the victim, adopting a posture and speech of an aggressive nature.
The fact that the suspect kept one hand inside his pocket led the victim to fear that he might be in possession of a firearm, significantly increasing the feeling of threat and danger during the approach.
