The Government responded to the Chega party confirming the existence of a budget of 144 thousand euros destined for the Judicial Police to proceed with the destruction of chemical products. This response comes following questions raised by the political party.
The Minister of Justice took the opportunity to clarify that there is currently an ongoing process in which the reasons why the authorization for the destruction of the products was not executed immediately, as planned, will be investigated.
The executive did not specify the nature of the chemical products in question nor did it reveal additional details about the case, limiting itself to confirming the budgeted amounts and the existence of the ongoing investigation.
