The Consell confirms in the key meeting its rejection of the Government's financing reform

The conseller of Finance of the Generalitat Valenciana, José Antonio Rovira, participated in the meeting of the Council of Fiscal and Financial Policy at the Ministry of Finance, where the central Government's proposal for a new regional financing model was debated and voted on. The Generalitat Valenciana voted against this proposal, as the Council had announced the previous day.

Rovira himself confirmed his position at the doors of the ministry, criticizing the department led by Arcadi España for not having accepted "any of the claims" presented by the Valencian community.

The conseller of Finance reproached that Arcadi España's department has not incorporated "a single one" of the amendments or suggestions sent by the Generalitat Valenciana during the process of developing the reform.

This vote marks a new episode of confrontation between the central Government and the Valencian Community regarding financing, an issue that has been recurring in discussions between both administrations.
