The High Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) applied the partial pardon granted by Pedro Sánchez's Government to the former president of the Catalan Parliament Laura Borràs. This decision converts the original prison sentence that had been imposed on her.

Laura Borràs saw her sentence of four years and six months in prison commuted to another sentence of two years, after the application of the partial pardon agreed upon by the Spanish executive.

The former president of the Catalan Parliament had been sentenced by a Catalan court to serve four years and six months in prison, a sentence that is now altered through this clemency mechanism granted by Sánchez's Government.
