Luís Francisco is originally from Amadora, but chose to live in the Alentejo, more specifically in Nossa Senhora de Machede, where he has dedicated himself to the local community. The man makes a point of preserving his roots and contributing to the region that welcomed him.
Throughout his entire life, sport has been present in Luís Francisco's journey, assuming itself as an area to which he has dedicated time, work, and commitment. Football in particular has been one of his great passions.
It was in this context that Luís Francisco recently presented his candidacy for the Presidency of the Football Association of Évora, in the elections scheduled for 2028. His name thus entered the race for the leadership of the body that governs district football.
