The match between Farense and Desportivo de Chaves, which was scheduled for Sunday, was postponed to October 4th due to a viral outbreak affecting the Algarve squad. The confirmation was made by the Portuguese Professional Football League, with the postponement coming after agreement between both sports clubs.
The match will be played on October 4th, at 11am, at the São Luís Stadium in Faro.
The viral condition in the Farense squad began last week, before the game against Sporting B. André Candeias, the team's winger, presented fever, vomiting, and diarrhea, symptoms that also affected other players.
Farense, managed by José Faria, occupies fifth place in II Liga, with seven points, resulting from two wins, one draw, and one defeat.
