Franculino Djú at Trabzonspor generates money for Benfica

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo4 September 2026 at 09:01

Franculino Djú will leave Benfica to transfer to Trabzonspor, a club in the Turkish league. The Portuguese forward, who represented the red-and-whites, is close to completing this move.

The player's transfer will generate a financial gain for Benfica. The exact value of the operation has not been revealed, however.

The deal has not yet been officially confirmed by either of the clubs involved. Negotiations are underway but official statements are still pending.

This possible departure comes at a time when Benfica is looking to strengthen its budget through player sales. Franculino Djú is not believed to have been considered a key piece in the first team's setup.
