The Datafolha poll released on Thursday reveals that President Lula's (PT) government, a candidate for re-election, has a 51% disapproval rate among surveyed voters. Another 45% approve of the government, while 4% did not know how to respond. In relation to the institute's previous poll, conducted on August 21st, when 50% disapproved and 47% approved, there was a slight worsening in the government's evaluation.
In terms of classification, 42% of respondents rate the government as bad or terrible, 31% as great or good, and 25% as regular. In the previous poll, these numbers were 41% for bad or terrible and 33% for great or good, with the regular evaluation remaining stable at 25%.
Datafolha surveyed 2,002 people aged 16 or older between September 1st and 3rd. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus.
