Uber launches robotaxi service in London

On the streets of London, in the United Kingdom, it is already possible to catch a robotaxi. Uber, in partnership with Wayve, which develops technology dedicated to autonomous driving, has just launched this service in the English capital.

Customers can access these autonomous cars when they request a ride through the Uber app. However, it is not possible to specifically choose these vehicles, as their allocation is done automatically.

Wayve is the company responsible for developing the autonomous driving technology used in these vehicles, making it a strategic partner of Uber in this new service in the British capital.
