Federal deputies from the PT, PCdoB, Psol and Rede caucuses filed a petition with the Supreme Federal Court (STF) requesting the lifting of secrecy of the Dark Horse case investigations, which involves presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro and millionaire transfers made by banker Daniel Vorcaro.
According to professors Daniel Andres Raizman, from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF), and Thiago Bottino, from FGV Direito Rio, the STF may deny the request without providing further explanations and may even not respond to the petition.
The specialists point out that the Court would not even need to read the petition to decide on it, which makes it unlikely that the deputies' request will result in any action by the court.
