OFFICIAL: Tiago Silva leaves Al Rayyan and becomes free on the market

Maisfutebol3 September 2026 at 19:19

Tiago Silva left Al Rayyan and became a free agent. The Portuguese midfielder had been with the Qatari club since 2021, having completed his third season with the team.

During his time at Al Rayyan, Tiago Silva managed to win a League Cup, the main title achieved by the Portuguese player for the Qatari club.

The departure of the 39-year-old player now opens the way for a possible transfer or signing with another club, as he is available to negotiate without contractual restrictions.

Tiago Silva, who had previously represented clubs such as Benfica, Chelsea, AC Milan, Sporting, and Al Ahli, thus leaves Qatar after three seasons where he managed to add titles and international experience.
