The match between Farense and Chaves, from the 5th round of II Liga, was postponed due to a viral outbreak. The Portuguese League officially confirmed the postponement of the game.

The encounter, which was initially scheduled for an earlier date, was rescheduled for October 4th, at 11:00 AM. This change was communicated by the League after confirmation of the outbreak that affected one of the teams.

The two teams involved, Farense and Chaves, will now have to reschedule their plans for the competition. The postponement affects the scheduling of II Liga at this stage of the season.

The decision to postpone the game was made to protect the health of the players and ensure safe conditions for the match, which is common practice in situations of viral outbreaks in sports competitions.
